As an achievement hunter, this is what we call douchebags and they're the reason some people consider achievement hunters not a thing

As an achievement hunter, this option is only viable, when the achievement is impossible to obtain, and I mean it.
There's an achievement in tf2, where you can't unlock it anymore, because this achievement is long time not active, and not checked by steam. This achievement are for views in youtube, from demos in tf2, that were uploaded in youtube, or garry's mod achievements, meet garry

Got all Dark Souls III and Elden Ring achievements. You’ll be fine without using the achievement unlocker.

The only time I would do that is to REMOVE achievements after having some fun with mods (I have done it before)

just a note, if you do this you'll be banned from every achievement tracking site and blacklisted from leaderboards, play games legit.

actually thats false, i asked steam support about using SAM and bans, and they stated that you can not get a ban for using SAM, you can only get a vac ban for cheating online in multiplayer games, and you can only get a community ban for violating the steam community guidlines. they also stated to use SAM or similiar tools "at your own discretion".

It's very easy to detect if you have cheated in unlocking your achievements since it stores the exact date and time you unlock them. Real achievement grinders like me can tell easily if you faked.
