Herrin Massacre involved clashes between union and non-union workers

I grew up in souther Illinois and went to HS in Herrin. This tragedy was never taught, discussed, or talked about. A shameful secret that should have been taught in HS. Many prominent Herrin families were involved in these murders.

And insult over injury was that no one was convicted for this heinous mass murder. It should be taught in the local schools so it will never be forgotten.
