That's good for people who have trouble swallowing liquid and choke on food. It smoothly flows down the throat so chances of choking is less. My dad was on thickened water/liquid(drink) and we put thickening powder to thicken his drinks for him to drink.

If u guys are wondering “Ramune” is the Japanese version of lemonade.
It tastes the same as lemonade but you have to open this bottle with this glass ball and plastic capsule then you have to push the capsule down on the glass ball until it falls into the drink, after it’s in the drink the drink starts fizzing and then you can drink it! :)

Ramune is the most over hyped drink ever, it tastes like if you put a whole apple in water for a few seconds and that's all the flavor it got

Whenever I see these vending machines in Japan, I always get the flavoured water with the green caps 😂

That is actually for people who have an health problem called dysphagia. They can't swallow very well so to prevent the aspiration of the water to the lungs we give this type of water (that shouldn't have any taste). In hospitals we have a powder that we mix with normal water and it gets thicker
