In this episode we talk about pitching velocity as it relates to height and answer the question does height really matter for pitching velocity. The answer is yes and no. Meaning there are shorter pitchers that can pitch with high velocities just as there are taller pitchers who cannot. Yo can you do a video on people who still aspire to play baseball but aren't in school anymore. Mainly people ages 23-30. It'd be really appreciated man. I feel like people give up on the dream way to easily once school is done, I know I did once but then I just hit the gym and pitched to a net in my backyard and I play for a summer league as of right now.

It's about taller guys reaching longer from the pitching plate to home that's why taller guys dominate

I agree .. ive seen shorter pitchers with alot faster arm speed, throw slower than taller pitchers with slower arm speed.

6'4" which is the sane height my son's doctor estimates him to top out at. He is 13 and 5'11" now and a lefty.

the scouts want big bodies.the big bodies can last longer without dropping off in speed.dont get me wrong there are some smaller guys that can bring it, but usually not as long.92 mph doesnt mean much in the pros..seems like most pros today are over 94..if your throwing 92-93 always remember theres some kid coming in next years draft who are throwing 95-96..its a vicious competitive business, , always somebody on ur tail waiting to take your job..
