David Tenant & His Wife Are Preparing for Child #5

James welcomes his guests Elizabeth Banks and David Tennant and asks David about the news he and his wife are expecting their fifth child, and David explains that his oldest son, who is 17, is prepared to teach them about birth control. And Elizabeth tells James how she celebrated both of her parents turning 70, each in a very different way.

The reason there is such a big age gap because his wife had their eldest son as a teenager with someone else and David then adopted him.

I have 5 siblings and with the little one I'm 15 years apart. When my parents told me they were pregnant I went like "IT's likE yOU haVEn'T tHoUGhT iT ThRouGH". So yeah, lecturing your own parents on birth control is a real thing apparently.

I’m the youngest of 8 but you’d never know (other than the fact that I have brown eyes and both my parents have blue eyes) that I’m adopted and so are my 2 older brothers so I find it extremely heartwarming and refreshing to see that he doesn’t dwell on that with his kids
