Where Can I Travel With a Green Card?

Even if you have a U.S. green card, you still need a valid passport to travel. Having a U.S. green card does not give special status for entry to any other country.

Before traveling, make sure that your passport is valid and that the country your passport is from is eligible for entry into the country you would like to go to without getting a visa.

That is a good point...Home country passport matters ! However, Yes, everyone (regardless of nationality) who has a US Green Card can travel to Canada without having to apply for a Canadian visa. If you are traveling by air or transiting in Canada, you will have to get an eTA (Electronic Travel Authorization) before traveling, but if you’re crossing the border by land, you only need your passport and Green Card.

Not entirely correct. I'm LPR. With my passport alone I would require a visa to visit Canada or Mexico, but with GC it is waived. I think this applies to couple of more countries, but for the rest of the world it is as you said, the passport you hold is only that matters. Also, I'm not 100% sure, but I think in some cases with GC, you don't need a transit visa for the UK.

I have a questions counselor. I'm legally allowed to work in the United States I travel everywhere for work I drive semi truck I do option trading doing selling options online and what not. But my immigration status is permit only. My immigration category is (a10) . I apply underneath my work permit every year so far so good.

I believe exception is GC via asylum. With RTD, you can visit many European countries.
