When you're interviewing for jobs, you should be asking your interviewer questions too. Here are my favorite questions to ask interviewers and great method to build your own list of questions to ask that are important to you.

If you don't ask your interviewer questions, they might think you are not interested in the job, so you always want to be asking them questions too.

Hey Don, I spent a few nights before my interview watching your videos and formulating my own answers and taking your advice. I now start at my new job in 2 weeks. Thank you very much for the help

This is good stuff! Another question I like to ask the interviewer(s) is:

"How long have you been with (company's name) and what makes you stay?"

Now most interviewers will answer the first part of this question during the introductions so don't ask again if they've already answered it. Just ask "What makes you stay" or "What drives you to stay." The answer to this question will give you more insight into the company.

Another great question is: "If hired, how would I be introduced to this role?" or "What is your onboarding process?"

This way you'll know if you're going to be given a project that you have to figure out on your own or if you're going to "shadow" a more experienced employee who will show you the ropes.

I hope this helps someone😊

Excellent video! As well as the questions already mentioned, I also like to ask the interviewer(s):
* What are your favorite aspects of working for this company?
* How do you define success in this role? What will the first 30, 60, 90 days look like?
* How could I impress you in the first three months?
* What do you consider the biggest challenges in this role?
* What training do you offer to support your employees' career development?
* What are the next steps in the recruitment process? (This is an excellent question to finish off with)

Hello Don! I followed your directions from your videos, and I practiced talking with my hands and followed how you talk to us. I practiced by talking to my living room! I thought of your questions. I answered the way you taught us, with enthusiasm. I interviewed 3 times with a job I felt was interesting. They flew me to California for my final interview and was offered the job. The pay was a challenge and I politely talked to them about my concern. Since gas prices are horrible, they were grateful and offered me a gas allowance. First time ever a company has done this for me! I start my training in 2 weeks. Thank you for all your great training!! It worked for me. Keep up your great videos!

This video is super helpful. I'm trying to relocate to a different city and i've been have interviews like crazy! I have three this week alone and three more the week after next. I'm trying to be discreet about them since I'm still at my current job but its getting harder since I have so many back to back

How many questions is too many questions would you say is too many to ask? Usually I ask 6-8.. everything from what do you like most about working here to what can I clarify about my background in order to help in the decision making process?
