Homeschool Haul: Lakeshore Learning | Back to School 2021

I really want that writing folder! Language arts is my favorite subject. I haven’t figured out a fun way to introduce new vocabulary. It does happen naturally during reading when our son (going into 3rd) runs across words he doesn’t know.

Have you seen Angleside School game? It has a protractor in the middle and cards that say things like, “move 15 degrees”. The theme is brick and mortar school and the goal is to get from bus pick up to bus drop off. It’s a fun way to learn and practice measuring angles!

I love playing games with my boys. When we are invited to kids bday parties I always buy games as presents. I believe it can also bring a family together . I remember learning so much as a kid and would ask for games all the time. Thanks for sharing while I now figure out which game I want 😆

My kids love the allowance game! It's like a monopoly version..so you don't really get to pick and choose when you spend/save...but it does show you that if you spend all your money, you will go broke, vs having a job and earning money. We have a good laugh with it.

So many cool things here. That game board with the cards on paragraphs was really cool. I've never seen anything like that. Those are you ready for the next grade games neat too. But I worry about investing in them because I don't know how well my daughter will do with them. We're way behind in math.

I love that Writing Process folder! It such a great reference for the learners! You got such a bunch of language arts stuff - how do you manage to use all the resources you have? What do you do with them after your daughter has completed an activity?
