You forgot to tell people to check behind there bumper before drilling that there are no obstructions such as metal body parts or even other cables Always Check first Before drilling any holes.

Brilliant tutorial, I lost the wiring instruction with my sensor kit ( was unsure of the red/black combo on the wiring) and never realised that power went to the reverse light with just the key turned ( I had no idea what wires were what in my kangoo van, turns out the pink wire was the one I was after and just soldered the ground to a washer and linked to an earth bolt ).

Aja and what about the color, you couldn't buy those sensors on white color?

Would I not be better to mount the screen on back windscreen? Then you can turn around when reversing and also see it in rear view mirror, best of both worlds.

Step 2 use white sensors on white cars step 3 use washing up liquid to ease the stress on the sensor rubbers when pushed in.
step 4 use the lines on the bumper to mark the height of the sensors.

so the red wire of the sensor device goes to the positive wire of the back light, I want to know if the black wire goes to the ground or the chassis of the car or does it go to the negative wire of the back light?

I found reverse wire and when j connect no sign of beeping when connected. plz help. I have not installed as yet. but checked the wiring.
