Hey, guys! Great news from Netflix as Welcome to Eden Season 2 is officially confirmed! The Season 2 renewal came less than THREE weeks after the new Netflix original from Spain premiered on May 6. Sure, Welcome to Eden is unlikely to follow the huge success of the other two Spanish Netflix mega hits Elite and Money Heist, but three weeks after the debut, the thriller drama series sits confidently at #4 on the Netflix Top-10 Non-English TV shows. It has reached the Netflix Top-10 lists in more than EIGHTY countries, reaching #2 in the US and UK, and #1 in its native Spain. Season 2 of Welcome to Eden may be released even sooner than you expect, as new episodes are already filming. The sci-fi thriller series is filmed on location on the beautiful Spanish islands of Lanzarote and San Sebastián, and in Barcelona. In Season 2, the Eden Foundation will welcome new members, played by new additions to the main cast – Carlos Torres and Nona Sobo. Amaia Aberasturi will be back as Zoa, who in the Season 1 finale faced a tough choice: does she escape from the island or does she stay to protect her newly arrived sister Gaby? Amaia Salamanca returns as Astrid: will she be able to keep her throne after rebels tried to kill Erick?
