the only thing I read into all this is we need, we MUST return to being self sufficient as a country, grow here and manufacture HERE in the USA!

It doesn't matter if you get a 10 or even 20% pay raise, when everything around you has went up 30, 50, even 100% up in cost. We are all poorer under this administration.

I worked in Teamsters for 40 years and NEVER voted Democrat. Because I’m the only reason I’m keeping my job.

I am sick of the Federal government already! Time for the current regime to be voted out!

If the last 4 years aren’t proof enough for Kamala voters to not vote for her, this won’t matter to them either.

Its worse here, our economy is like a flailing fish, fighting for its life. The normal state of the U.S. economy is actually very bad. Because of this it goes into convulsive spasms fighting to grow any way it can out of desperation. Tricks, gimmicks, rule changes try to stimulate the economy and prevent it from falling but they only bring temporary relief to people since, when you factor in inflation we are declining.

My late step father was a dock worker and I know he'd have HATED this!

Our fellow Americans are suffering and some have lost everything due to the hurricane. I think this Union guy took this as an opportunity to get what he wants. The God workers make well uh uh a 100k year and wanted a 77% increase. They were offered 50, and this guy turned it down. I think it's disgusting.

I JUST took a call and it happened to be the MI chapter of the Harris campaign. They wanted to know if they could count on my vote.

“I am a 2 time Trump voter, what do you think?”
“Thank you for your time.”

😂😂😂

This is what's so nuts to me that someone would vote for Kamala and want 4 more years of this... and I'm not even a Trump fan!!

Shit will never change. As long as people have to pay taxes on a property you fully own and if you dont pay them they can take your house. As long as basic crap like this doesn't change America will never been for the people

Hey Pat. I am a longshoreman at port Newark. I am the “average American person”. Please mention that these shipping companies are not American companies. These companies charging $30, 000 for a full container, an increase from $6, 000 per container just a few weeks ago. In just a short time, they went from 6K, to 18K, then 24K and now $30, 000. They made/make insane profits. What we doing over here? Backing foreign companies over the American middles class workers. While everyone was on zoom during the pandemic. We got up. Left our families. Went to work. Kept the the world running. Anything you buy comes through the ports. Shouldn’t we be compensated? Shouldn’t our jobs be protected by not having computers do our jobs. Ask ports that are semi automated. They cant do anywhere near the moves that we do. We are the American middle class. The money we make goes back into our economy. The shipping companies do not. You always seem to have the the middle class guys back. Hopefully you have ours.

Love the show by the way.

If I refuse to work for more money I’d just be out of a job. Must be nice to be able to hold the American consumer hostage for more money.

I live in The Bahamas. Practically everything we buy comes from the USA on ships departing from your ports. Hope this strike is sorted out before the food runs out.
