How about releasing a microkorg with analog filters. It's one of best low cost synths ever released, anyone hating just sucks at sound design plain and simple. I have synths ranging from hundred bucks to several thousand and my micro always finds use in everything I do. I've been using a bs2 filter with it for some time and the results are stunning. It sucks having to record some things in mono and making them stereo in post but it just seems like such a no brainer to me to release a hybrid version.

I'm a fan of the MicroKorg. It is a powerful synth at a very reasonable price. If this video's aim was to demonstrate the synth's power, it has done so poorly. If it is to demonstrate the built-in speaker, then it might have succeeded in doing so. Cool shirt, though.
I bought my old MicroKorg at the old price of $400, I've just checked with PerfectCircuit and it says the S is offered at $500, which is the same price with the Minilogue.

Why would they go back to those keys after the XL? Plus why the three digit screen?? They should have merged the regular and XL Microkorg's; take the parameter selection matrix from the regular and the keys and screen from the XL.

I regretted selling my old microkorg. So when this came out, I copped it. It's like butter. Speakers are pretty good. But it's the extra sounds and a empty bank slot that were the nice touches. Still wish they would have done a bit more to it to make things more efficient, like a usb midi. I always wanted it to have more than a 4 voice poly to get those complex chords.But it still triumphs over the XL and Minilouge IMO.

I take back all the bad stuff i had to say about the S - Played with it For like 2 Hours - The speakers sound nice and they kinda add a vibrating tactile feel to the keys whicj is actually nice .
Tho still would wish a new preset management tool
(Or new engine a la KingKorg)
And please goddamnit a Usb Port would be nice its 2016
