Lalo has nobody he can trust, even his home family (not the Salamancas) have Trust issues to some degree. remember when he said

When Kim confronts him by saying He has nobody he can trust, He made a last minute decision by bringing Nacho to his home as if he's saying to Kim "Yes, I do have someone I can trust." which turn out to be a fatal mistake. It almost sounded like The Universe is punishing him for trusting someone. In the End, He's all by himself because that's the only one He can trust.
