This is my reaction to the PREMIERE Extended EPISODE of CHUCKY The TV Series on SYFY.
14 year old student Jake Webber purchases a vintage "good guy" doll named Chucky at a yard sale. Later that night, Jake's cousin Junior and his family come over for dinner while Chucky murders Jake's cat Binxie in the upstairs bedroom; This causes Jake's dad to continuously pressure him to sell the doll. Jake takes Chucky to school, where Junior's girlfriend Lexy creates a Go-Fund-Me to mock Jake's family for their financial struggle. During the school's talent show, Chucky comes alive in Jake's arms, humiliating Lexy under the disguise of a ventriloquist act. During a heated argument at home, Jake wishes that his father was dead before the power goes out in the house. Chucky murders Jake's father in the basement.
