Ever since Terraria 1.4 came out I knew I wanted to remix this theme. Definitely one of my favorite new additions to the OST and of course the boss itself is amazing (especially a fun fight on master mode) ;)
Anyways hope you all enjoy this one, it was pretty fun to make and I'm happy with how it turned out. It was cool to use the themes from the original soundtrack and put my own twist on them.

Empress of Light's theme is very different from the other boss themes, because it really drives home a certain aspect: sheer unfiltered anger. With the other boss themes it's just "you summoned this thing to kill it" and that's basically it (except with moon lord, his theme is just "You're Screwed: Instrumental"). With Empress of Light, the theme just slaps you in the face, grabs you and says "You didn't summon this thing, you just pissed it off"

Edit: I KNOW THAT I FORGOT ABOUT THE TORCH GOD GUYS—I mean, the Torch God is definitely just a test and punishment from the Empress to see if the player was worthy of their presence, definitely, totally did not pull that out of nowhere
