Leaders at the G20 summit in Delhi have issued a joint declaration despite wide differences over the war in Ukraine. Unlike last year's Bali communique, this year's document does not mention Russia by name. The African Union also joined the G20 club, and key pledges for battling climate change were made.

German media unable to get digested this India's success. They thought there will be no Delhi declaration but India successfully handled situation and came out with flying colors(declaration). Now this will be a bitter pill to get digested for all the unhappy western media.

This G20 summit was the most successful so far. Here the African Union was included as a new member, the declaration was passed unanimously and also over a 100 decisions were made including biofuels alliance, India and West Asia corridor, etc. As far as Ukraine-Russia conflict is concerned well G20 isn't a platform to discuss Geo Political issues, it's a platform to discuss economic development and climate related issues. I think West should stop this useless rant. The Bali summit has already been wasted on this. World can't do anything if both countries don't want to negotiate. There are even more important issues to discuss. India atleast 5 times mentioned Ukraine and not a single time Russia. And I'm sure that Brazil won't even do that unless it's get pressurized by the West. Bharat did a great job here👍🏻🇮🇳

Dear DW your New Delhi correspondent is so hopelessly incompetent. She more concerned about Xi Jinping's absence than the presence of so many important leaders major democracies of the world. G20 is about democracy and democratisation of world order - what can China do here .

Atleast India mentioned this, next year Brazil even won't do this...just now Lula said he won't allow this G20 to be hijacked for geo politics and groupism and wants to speak other things !

It seems India made it clear that G20 is the forum to discuss on Global Financing, climate, poverty etc and not the western agenda!

I like the frustration of Western media and for them, it's difficult to digest the growing power of developing countries. Past colonial mindset is yet to change to accept the facts.

Successful G20 summit in difficult times. G20, a economic group made key developments like
1. AU inclusion in group
2. India - West Asia - Europe corridor will be huge potential project connecting close to 20+ countries, way to a secured supply route.
