Let me tell you a story. I can't seem to find the clip of the play because it didn't result in the Nuggets scoring, so you'll have to trust my memory on this one, but the best Jokic pass I saw didn't actually end up being an assist.

It was early into last season and I was watching the Nuggets play against the Raptors, and one of the Nuggets' guards gets a steal and gets the ball forward to Jokic who's (kinda) running a fastbreak. My man catches it and he does something I never saw before - He throws a behind the back alley-oop in transition... to Wilson Chandler. Now I dunno how familiar you are with Wilson Chandler (aside from probably knowing about that unintentionally creepy tattoo on his neck), but trust me, if you had to chose a guy to throw a lob to, he shouldn't be anywhere near the top of your list after having what feels like more injuries than the whole Clippers squad had during the Lob City era.

If you're wondering how it ended, Chandler somehow managed to catch the ball, but he did it too late and like 5 feet away from the hoop, so he runs to the baseline and tries to pass it to an open man for a three, but it resulted in one of the most anticlimactic turnovers ever.

I hate how that play is burnt into my memory for all the wrong reasons.

PS: No hate on Wilson here. It's not his fault that Jokic put him into such an awkward situation haha. He's had some really solid years, and has always been a good 1 on 1 defender. Could've been much more if the injuries didn't love messing with him so much.

Edit: Also I dunno about yall, but I'm really missing Kenneth Faried. He's been barely playing for the past two years, and while I understand that he's one of the most one-dimensional players out there, and that his defense is less than stellar to put it nicely, he's been so fucking fun to watch. Especially in those two seasons he and Jokic were running the show in Denver. I never saw a bad offensive play when two of those were going for the basket together. Really hope he can find a team that will give him a real chance while he still go the hops. 20 MPG for a guy that's as good of an oop threat as anyone ever was, should fit into many rotations out there as long as you got someone to cover for his defensive shortcomings.
