ΘΕΟΦΑΝΕΙΑ ΒΛΥΧΑΔΑ 2022

The Epiphany is a major Orthodox Christian Celebration of the Baptism of Jesus Christ in the Jordan River by St. John the Baptist (¹). It is celebrated on January 6 and is the third and last holiday of the Twelfth Day (Christmas holidays). The name derives from the revelation of the three persons of the Holy Trinity which occurred according to three relevant evangelical passages. The feast of the Epiphanies is also called Surface and Lights or Lights (or Feast of Lights).
