I only wish I found this channel sooner. My statics classes are barely held on schedule, and so I was forced to miss out a lot on makeup classes because of scheduling conflicts. I've been fumbling about looking for solutions everywhere and failing every test, until now. Now I got a midterm exam tomorrow. Even if this is last minute, I feel like this has saved my life.

It's rare to find this kind of engineering channels that turn everything complex into basic. I'm feeling lucky.

It took me about 20 minutes to figure out the forces on A, AD and AB caused a huge pressure on my mind

sir the thing i dont understand is this: the compression or the tension depends on where we look doesnt it? For example if the froce AB is compressing on one truss it is going to tense another. Is my idea wrong? Please answer it <3

I chose my moment + direction as counter-clockwise which gave me a Cy reaction going down and a Ay reaction going up which I guess reversed all the tension/compressions of the actual members as well when I solved for them. Are both these solutions fine?

wouldnt cy=0.75 because the perpendicular distance is 2sin30 ?

how exactly do we get DC=4.1KN? I'm unsure of what exact numbers are being plugged in to get 4.1kN
