Is it more difficult to Set or Attack This Ball? 🏐

Setting, you can match a sets pace and work it as an attacker. But if the set is just bad the attack cant materialize.

I play as a setter and also played as a middle blocker cause of that I know as my opinion set is harder

As a setter, I would say both. If you don't set it perfectly it is hitters job to make it count. Also mentally it's hard for an attacker, you get blocked, it is your fault.

Setter, setter are the controler of match. to each attacker he have to give different angles perfectly. Setter can play little attacking if any one set but remember attacker can't set the bool even decently.

Setting because you could set to high, to low or not far enough which throws off track

Equal. The set was difficult cause close to net. The setters feet are on the middle line. The attack was hard because the ball was so far in front. And "Boden-Decke" requires some power.

Seems to take beginners much longer to learn how to deliver hittable sets, than it does to jump and hit a well set ball. When play progresses to middle attacks with different tempos, it takes another year still of experience for a setter to learn to see the opposing blocker. For that reason, I think that setting is more difficult to master.

On the other hand, since the middle blocker should be jumping every time the ball crosses the net, in either direction (while the outside hitter gathers the glory), I say from experience that middle attacking is more physically demanding, and therefore “harder”.

Setting bc the passes aren’t always good and you’re expected to have a good set. and the snow always gonna be good to the hitter, but they can always just pass it over. They don’t always have to hit it over.

setting has more technique but a 10 years old kid can set that ball but can't attack it that way, its just 2 different things

For me attacking is harder since I play like a libero

the hit easily, some people never get high enough to hit like that whereas any highschool setter can set a decent 2 ball

Middle blocker has de hardest attack, and I think the middle blocker set is easyer than the outside and OH sets.

I think setting is the most difficult job in volleyball because in this you may have to recieve a badly passed ball and make it a good set ball for spiker.. sob you have make a worse ball into a better balll

When you compare it 1 on 1 attacking is harder but theire is only 1 setter on the field so i would say setting is harder of the time

Swinging from middle is the easiest place on the court, set is way harder

The set. WTF set was that? Nothing we ran when I set in college, involved a set in that zone or that height. That's just asking for all three blockers.

Attack to 100% its difficult to find the right Moment and you must smash the over the net and thats soooo difficult if you jump

Depends on how good you are as a attacker when you just smash it every time then its not that hard aber when you play with your head than its harder than setting
