One thing C&D players underestimate is their own self-healing. As long as you're next to a teammate the healing splashes to you. You're meant to help push the front line with your ult and your splash heals, so playing them is a delicate balance between knowing when to hang back and when to be aggressive.

If you shoot/use an ability while cloaked, you will lose the invulnerability. I've also found that it sometimes fails to capture a teammate if they're below me, but still in line of sight, lastly not sure as I haven't tested yet, but I believe as cloak you're cloaked for slightly longer than your team (though it could be them shooting/using an ability)

As C&D, the only ult I have trouble surviving is Psylocke’s ult. Other than that, majority of ults can be mitigated using cloaks invis.

to answer your question at 10:40 if other characters attack while they are under the cloak then they are no longer invisible

To any bronze to platinum players this is semi horrible advice, The reason why people use dagger instead of cloak is that these people rely on their team but, as a BRONZE TO PLAT you CANNOT RELY ON YOUR TEAM im not saying play only cloak but pop him out more then you usually do you will hard carry if you do from bronze to plat

Other C&D mains already answered the loki death question, so what ill point out is that you alway mention the blinding of terror cape. Thats true, but it also makes the enemies vulnerable for a few seconds. On the whole, id say my teams get more value out of the vulnerability than the blind. The ability to tick tanks down and out damage their healing is crazy. It also helps C&D solo take out flankers if you hit them with a quick terror cape. Also, Dagger's primary fire is also an AOE

5:19 why are you basically skilping every time that player switches to cloak? There're many situations when you don't need to heal that much or that you've placed both dagger skills so you'll be nore helpful dealing damage as cloak.

C&D's versatility doesn't mean "she heals a lot" it means that they can switch from healer to dps as required.

Cloak's skill don't just blind, it also increases the damage taken by the enemy, which is the main reason why you want to use it. As others have mentioned, Loki died under Cloak's right click because he kept engaging in combat. You kept skipping the parts, but if you ult and your team knows what your it does and stay over it, you can engage in combat as another DPS with Cloak until the ult wears out so you switch back to mainly healing with Dagger

As a CD main, I have definitely been killed in my own ult before. If their team focuses you, especially with a strong ult, you WILL lose. Dont get cocky just cuz you're in her ult, it's been my demise a couple times

Don't know if you got your answer yet, but in order for cloaks shift to save teammates, the teammate cannot attack. As soon as the teammate attacks he comes visible again. Your teammates have to have a lot of trust in you to block those ults.

As a cloak player you aren’t invincible. Especially if you don’t stack it. Magnito can take you out very quick if he times it right. He’s my main person who I notice can take me out but if a team focus one player in the alt they will be killed. Also I don’t understand why you wouldn’t try to use cloak more especially with the blinding buff. You take off much health even on tanks when you have them blinded as cloak.

I’m a lord cloak and dagger, I’m usually top healer in the game but I think C&D is so much more than just staying in dagger 95% of the time and ONLY using cloak for utility. I’d say it’s more like 80% dagger, 20% cloak. CD is great for taking out enemy healers / annoying ranged DPS like hela or Hawkeye. and you can really play on top of your tanks because your RT (or basic heal) also heals yourself if you’re close enough to who you’re healing so basically I’ve found there’s 2 ways to live if you’re under heavy pressure one being going to your tank, bubble healing on both of you and then spam healing with RT, or like you showcased the quick switch to cloak and going invisible and relocating. But I’ll say your breakdown is clearly from just observing others playing CD, with not having much playtime yourself. Still appreciate the video!

The CD ultimate is like 200 hps PER LINE. So you either make a red carpet to point with minimal healing or stack that shit on point to anchor your team. And now they are getting a 4th line to worth with.

Also Cloak is more for protecting Dagger, not spitting out dmg.
