Waveshare 4' touchscreen on Teensy 4.1

I am researching building some foot pedal sound effect filter. Teensy 4.1 appears to be a good fit. I had a couple of these displays from another project and want to get one running with Teensy 4.1
This video is running one of their provided demos for displaying a set of BMP files from the display ssd socket. The instructions in the manual are fairly clear and straight forward.
