Good point.. the market has been crazy lately, a few surprises here and there.. with all the global happenings taking place I think it's safe to say that a severe global recession is looming..

This is a profit booking not a correction. FII and DII buy and sell ration are almost same. However, lot of retail participated started booking there profit.
In 2008 FII sold 37% of there worth (Rs 28K Crores). I
n 2020 FII sold 30% (78K Crores)
and now FII sold 8% of there worth (1.3 Lacs Crores).
So market will bounce back soon. No panic.

There is an open FIR on the Finance minister, and loads of allegations on the SEBI chief. Does it not carry any weight?

Our economy is not in good shape. Earning is not matching with the value. Liquidity and index management has somehow keep nifty upward. So naturally mkt will correct. How much ? That mkt will decide. We can only speculate. So it is unlikely reach highest point (26000) in this year.
