I learned this game at a friend's house when her grandparents would come to visit. We didn't keep score and we would knock on the table when we were done with our turn. A great way to start a kid on various solitaire games.

Used to play this all the time when I was locked up back in 2006. I'm going to teach this game to my kids when they are older to tell them all my crazy experiences and life lessons.

This brings back memories of playing with my grandparents at their cabin in Big Bear Lake, CA.

We played a variation where you could place cards underneath a pile when a space was open

A yo what's good, 'hood!? This is a great presentation of my favorite card game that I had recently learned to play about seven months ago and since then I have quickly become an expert player with my very own great strategy partially taught by others whom have already known how to play. I win more than I lose, either way I always enjoy the rounds ultimately playing for hours on end. I eventually taught one of my siblings and a niece how to play so far and have even downloaded an application for the Android phone in order to pass time meanwhile no one else is available to participate. I have yet to keep score although I have just recently learned from You and another uploader in regards on how to do so. I hope that You also continue to enjoy the game with family and friends in competition. Thank You for the brilliant presentation, ¡Bravo!

Played this game a lot growing up. We had an extra "tuck" rule that I didn't see here. When one of the four side card/piles can be placed on another pile (as in 2:06), and it leaves only 3 piles, the Tuck rule it activated and allows the current player to put cards underneath any of the remaining piles, as long at it still applies to the order. For example at 2:11, if Player Four had a Red 5, they could play it under the Black 4 of the top pile. Then if no more tucking is possible, place any remaining cards in the empty spot, and your turn is over. Wonder if that's just something my family made up to speed the game up?

We learned to play while on vacation last week. The lady who taught us is a caregiver and taught us exactly like the video, draw before playing. We did not keep score 1st one out was winner.

I play a different variant. Players have a card up and others players can hit each other's pile. And the A's go in the corners where you have to play 2, 3, 4 of the same suit. So it gives the game a sort of attack method! You pile your opponent s pile up!
