There used to be a fantastic used book store there on the corner across from where the Navigator restaurant was. I miss it and wish they still were there.

Munising is pretty great. But there are a few issues. 51% grumpy klansmen whackadoos, 49% fantastic friendly people. They are one of the few places in the country that still do the sundown town siren. They refuse to fund the schools. The price gouging is a bit ridiculous. Too many vacant houses. That being said I'd still highly recommend the town for people with children and remote jobs. And for a short vacation its hard to top
