Great review. Many others are incorrectly telling people to have the 4K HDR format checked. This will force HDR on all content even if match dynamic range is turned on.

I was gonna post my settings but you have it correct. HDR only when it needs to and not always on. Also this way fixes the issue I had with HDR10+ being locked in for regular HDR10, after having watched an HDR10+ video.

Emby doesn't force hdr under mentioned in this video settings. You have to use Infuse instead.
