FLAT PANZER DERPS MY ENEMIES - Alecto in War Thunder

The Alecto in War Thunder is the Rank 1 reward tank for Battle of Arachis. It's a tiny little derp tank with a 95mm Howitzer that has 110mm of penetration. Don't let that penetration value trick you, though. This gun is AWFUL! lol

The Alecto is easily workable in low tier, but most vehicles you could take out with some poop on a stick if you're lucky enough. It can hold its own but the 95mm HEAT is VERY unreliable.

I will say this, though... it works wonders on M18's at higher BR's!

Overall, I did really enjoy playing the Alecto. If it sells for less than $3 it might be worth picking it up just for the fun of it!

I remember speaking to some 14th/20th Kings Hussars veterans at a NAAFI function when I drove Chieftain for a living. I was amazed to find out they had trialed the Alecto just after WWII in Germany and it was universally hated (especially its weird steering system of twisting the tracks). It was basically a 25 pdr field gun shoe horned into a Harry Hopkins (itself a derivative of the Tetrach ) chassis with less armour than a Tesco's trolley. Us Brit's made some weird shit back in the day!!!

I actually wanted the Alecto because I used it a lot in World of Tanks
Whit the same Gun it has in WT.
Its quite a decent vehicle whit a pretty good gun.

I still try helping flipped players, but it seems like the higher BR you go the more tanks clip through the ground and can't be saved.
