Primer is the best time travel movie I’ve ever seen. Very well thought out and strange.

My favorite kind of time travel is "Everything builds on each other"

When returning to the past, you don't change the history YOU came from... but the history you could have come from. Not forming a loop, but moving diagonal backwards relative to time.

Events in letters following: A leads to B, B leads to C, which is 'you travelling back in time, seeking to change A'

As you do C, you don't travel to A... but to A* ... and anything you do does not influence B... but B* ... B* could then be followed by C*, being 'B* you travels back in time to change A*'... but that can only change A**... and so on

No grandfather paradoxes.... but to someone from A*, you'd have essentially created something out of thin air... because to them, C never happened and will never happen. This system would therefore only work in the additional scenario... if we send Data back in time.... not energy or mass


So for example: We create a robot which can receive data from the future...

Upon completion, an AI fills the memory of the artificial brain... and it seems to be a conscious mind.

This mind would have come from a time traveller from C... and we are in A*

We would never be able to reach C, as C is a diverging path of time in which somehow someone created the exact mechanism to send human minds to the past, encoded in that same program-code.

We would know THAT someone was able to do it... but WE could never credit them ourselves. The AI could.

I think the best explanation of time travel I've ever heard is actually from Red Vs Blue, when Jax is describing what kind of time travel they've been doing by looking at time travel in science fiction.
....Then he adds up all the time travel they did on one chart and it looks like a ----

Gosh, I kind of want to see doctor who now. I think I might have seen every time travel sci-fi on Netflix a decade ago.

My theory is that if you go back and change an event and wait 24 hours, will change the outcome in the future.


Since I'm working on a static energy/radio wave frequency approach to time travel, I believe that one text to the past could change one person's timeline and it's interactions.
