Jamie at Home is still my all time favourite Series of Jamie Oliver. I’ve got all the episodes and the accompanying cookbook, and whenever I need to watch a “feel-good” something, that is what I watch.

This was one of your best ever series - imo. It felt much more natural when you were sort of cooking for the person stood behind the camera, rather having to be a presenter; cooking for people at home.

I've always loved cooking and good food thanks to my mum and my grandad (her dad, who I never got to meet sadly) being a chef. This series really fired up the imagination. I still go back to clips and recipes of these series. Brilliant. I owe a lot to this series with my love of cooking and beautiful herbs, flavours and making me imaginative in a non-faffy way. I have both DVDs and always enjoy watching them. I looked for such a spit for a long time in Germany and gave up the search at some point. When my wife and I were on our honeymoon in the south of France, I found so many at an antique market. I bought one there. That was on our second day - I will never forget how happy I was. Ever since I saw that episode, I dreamed of getting a spit like that, now I have it. ❤

Love this so much. You can see Jamie’s passion beaming out of him. No frills and trying to fluff things up. Just great, honest home cooking and wow that looks like the best bbq I’ve ever seen
