For a long time now I’ve kept a running list of issues that have cropped up in many conversations with customers and fellow consultants about things we wish Scentsy would address / change. Not sure if “fix” is a word I’d use but bringing up these issues in a respectful manner might help bring about positive change.

My background is in management and I would always be on the lookout for the 3 C's- Clear, concise, constructive and you've got all of that in spades! I was just nodding my head the whole video lol. So many great points, especially the going back to tradition and bringing back old scents. We don’t want new new new. We want good good good.

Love this, and I agree with everything that you said. Another thing that I would like to mention is the exclusive items for club members- Scentsy started this, and they offered things to club members that were old “merchandise items”. Then almost all of those items ended up in a flash sale, and I was infuriated to the point that I cancelled my club. Sorry, but that is not how you should treat club members. Trying to sell old things at full price, and then sending them to a flash sale when club members obviously weren’t buying them. Poor business practice on Scentsy’s part. Scentsy really should start making a lot of changes in my opinion. Great video!

I love Scentsy too but agree with all of this. You presented it in a perfect classy way as well!
LTOs- yes way too many. Also keep it simple, we don’t need body wipes and buddies that come with a bed, etc. Really great ideas here Patricia! Thank you! 😊

Totally agree with all points especially the last one - its like a restaurant having over 200+ things on the menu. So many options doesn't always mean something good!

I would like to see all these changes. I really want Pacific Sandalwood and some other LTO’s, so adding more LTO’s to BBMB voting is probably what I want to see most. I also would want more flexibility with Scentsy Club with letting us skip or reschedule what month the shipment arrives so we don’t have to jump through figurative hoops with doing hacks to do this. Any other company I’ve had subscription shipments with, like Amazon or Yankee Candle, lets you push back shipments easily without fear of losing anything.

I agree, 100% with everything you said, especially including pour dates and scent descriptions. Other companies have smaller containers and they are able to describe the scents on there. There are definitely too many LTO‘s so how can they even decide if something is a good seller or not when people don’t get a chance to try it. Free shipping or at least half-price shipping for club members would be amazing! I would love a classics section in the catalog

Loved this !!! Totally agree -- I wish they would scale back on the number of LTOs they offer --- for instance, I can't even start testing the 10 new Fall scents because I live in an area that won't cool down until October. By then, Gourdy Goodness has come out and the Harvest Collection. Just after that, it'll be the holiday bars and usually even holiday bricks. Lastly, there will be another BBMB release. Not only do I not have time to warm thru ALL Those New Scents, but forget about even picking up regular returning catalog scents. Also, I really, really wish they would extend the time period that these items are offered ---- for instance, release the BBMB to cover the last 3 or first 3 months of a catalog season, then there's time to warm, buy more and make a decision about club.

100% with you on it all. There also needs to be changes made in club. But I don’t think they will do any changes. Mo $$$ the way it is. But how about just ONE DAY where you could add 3 missed bars? That couldn’t hurt. Of course they’d need the Que for that!

Great video and suggestions Patricia. You do such a nice job of explaining your reasoning. It’s obvious that you love Scentsy and they would do well to listen to you 😊 💰💰

I agree that only one month to order, receive and melt up to 25 BBMB bars so you can decide what you like is just silly. Plus some of those are light and need some time to cure. The comment about 3 months for BBMB - that makes much more sense. And don’t even get me started about the voting lol… If an LTO is available for 2 months (example) and not even in a catalog, then it is reasonable that it wouldn’t have as many sales as another catalog bar from 5 years ago. So lifetime sales shouldn’t be the only criteria for a bar to make it in the top 200. LTOs should get a special category.

I just will never understand a company that doesn’t provide items that their customers want to buy?? I can think of about 10 catalog scents that aren’t attracting any customers and 10 more scents that would fly off the shelves if they came back. 🤷‍♀️

Agree with everything! I appreciate you saying it all because I love scentsy but a lot of things annoy me. The scent circles are basically good for 2 days. And whyyyy won’t they bring scents back like apple butter frosting and almond croissant? People want them and I am pretty sure they were top sellers. Scaring people into making clubs?

Excellent suggestions!!! For me, I am my own best customer. I don't have a personal website on Scentsy and because of that I can't participate in Flash Sales. So for me I wish they would also allow us to place orders though our personal work stations. I don't like being excluded from those events. 🥺

I agree with you on these points. I have wondered why the BBMB is only a month long. Doesn't give people much time to order, get the order and warm them to know what they like. On the scent notes, I see so many other wax vendors list the scent notes and have wished Scentsy would do that. On the LTOs I agree wholeheartedly. I'm a consultant and it gets overwhelming. I have stopped placing so many orders and either put it in my monthly club to try if it's new wax scent or if it's for a special warmer waiting and placing an order when there are a few items I want, taking the chance the warmer(s) would still be available. Thanks for your thoughtfulness on this video. I love Scentsy and only buy Scentsy, but it doesn't mean there isn't room for improvements.

You were very kind about the scent circles because I get very irritated by them. 😆 I probably only had one or two that actually lasted a full week. The scent really has to be a powerhouse scent for it to work as a circle or car bar. A lighter scent like honeymoon hideaway for example, doesn't stand a chance. 😂

Totally agree about being able to use our party rewards for early access items and also making the scent circles and car bars stronger!

YES! Far too many LTOs and “new” products. I also think Scentsy does too many scents — very similar scents aren’t needed (example: Golden Garland vs. Hayrides).

Fewer LTOs!! As a consumer, I used to buy one of every LTO to give each a try but I became overloaded with mediocre (to my nose), half-finished bars that I warmed just to get rid of them and spent less time warming the scents I really enjoy. This year, I have skipped trying a lot of LTOs myself, waiting to hear reviews and then putting maybe one of a collection in my club to test. I agree about the flash sale bundles, too. Great video!!! There MUST be someone at headquarters watching YouTubers.

These are thoughtful suggestions. Related to sheer number of the LTO's are the shipping costs. They add up and I have to limit the number of times I place an order because I don't want to pay multiple shipping costs in a month. I have seen it where there are three or four collection launches in a single month.

Or with programs like BBMB, I have bars shipped at the start if the month. If I want to purchase a few more bars of BBMB scents that I end of liking before the end of the month, well that's another time I have to pay shipping.

Also, it would help if help if the catalog provided a preview and timeline of the whole season. If Scentsy would let us know all the scents and the warmers of the month and the LTO's that will be released in the season, it would help with planning and managing our budgets. I'm grateful for the consultants on youtube who provide us customers with as much advance information as they're able. But I think Scensty could include this information when catalogs are released. I don't understand why there's a catalog and then a separate Fall collection brochure and then a separate Holiday collection brochure, and separate brochures for SOTM's, etc.

For us online shoppers, could Scentsy make the seasonal paper catalogs available to customers to purchase directly? I know consultants can buy and re-ship them to their customers. But that's added expense and work for the consultant. I don't feel comfortable asking a consultant to send me one. I would be happy to buy a catalog directly from Scentsy at the start of the season and have it shipped along with other items I'm purchasing. Same goes for the little sample testers. Could they make a set of testers of the new release scents available for purchase at the start of the season?

About Flash and Warehouse sales, Scentsy still struggles with handling of the number of people trying to get into a sale when it starts. Until they can get the technology issues worked out, I think it's fair that Scentsy provides a list of what will be in the sale before it launches. Many people don't have the luxury of being able to sit in a queue for strecthes of time waiting to be let in to shop. Customers should have enough information to know what will be offered in the sale so they can make an informed decision about participating in the sale.
