What settings do you have on carb as once started it should rev up slightly, then settle so maybe your to rich on low needle. Mine is 1.5 H and 1.25 L (29cc). Are you using NGK plug? If same then could be coil pack failing. Is your plug black at tip or brown?

What octane are you Using and is it ethanol gas? Also if it’s sat for a while carb could be getting gummed up
