The number in the title already says it: this is not just an ordinary release. This is the 50th anniversary release of the popular HandsUp label Sonic Flash. With brand new remixes to the huge hits Casaris - "The Last Laugh" by Chris Silvertune, to Giga Dance - "Around the World" by IMPP and to Gainworx feat. Toni Fox - "45 Seconds" by Mr. Hyde.

Sonic Flash is the home of HandsUp giants like Giga Dance, Casaris, Pete Sheppibone, IMPP and several more. The label owners Johannes Ripken, formerly active as OverDrive Division, and Hard Trance legend Marlon Jürs alias Accuface have always relied on highest quality for their releases. Johannes reports on the preparations for this release: "It was very difficult for us to make a small selection which songs on the "50" should be honoured with new remixes because we have so many great songs on our label". But the selection they made is very impressive.

Casaris is a native on Sonic Flash who played his way into the hearts of the fanbase with the catchy singles "The Last Laugh", "Pimp your Life", "Lights" and "Vibes" as well as with numerous remixes. Now Chris Silvertune from the duo Norex & Silvertune has produced an extraordinarily great remix to Casari's first single "The Last Laugh".

Giga Dance has become an integral part of Sonic Flash. After first releases, among others on Aqualoop and Mental Madness, Giga Dance joined Sonic Flash in 2014 with his first single "Around the World" (feat. Morano). It gained lots of attention in the HandsUp community and became a real HandsUp anthem. The two other singles "Wild & Free" and "Touched by the Sound" as well as his numerous DJ gigs in Germany, Austria, at the radio station TechnoBase.FM and with his own radio show further expanded his standing as a HandsUp heavyweight. He also creates most of the artworks for the Sonic Flash label. The amazing remix for "Around the World" by IMPP, who have been with Sonic Flash since 2015, was a must for this anniversary volume.

"45 Seconds" by Gainworx feat. Toni Fox was a double release on the partner-labels Sonic Flash and Metrophonic Resistance (also owned by Marlon Juers and Johannes Ripken) in 2012. The original mix/edit is still the most popular song on the labels and the HandsUp Edition on Sonic Flash featured phenomenal remixes of Dual Playaz, Cueboy & Tribune and Quickdrop. Clear indications that the song needs to be on Sonic Flash - "50". Mr. Hyde from England is a new member of Sonic Flash's label family, celebrating his debut with this unique Donk-HandsUp remix and will present his first single very soon.
