Maybe its me but why is it full of only black guys as love interests? when black guys have movies, they make sure to have plenty of mixed women and non black women in their projects. But it never fails, when black women have projects, they always include black males who would turn around and erase them for a latina. How does that make sense ?

yes... and like Tyler Perry does in his movies, pay homage to previous movies... 'set it off' and 'waiting to exhale' were both honored in 'girls trip'....maybe there were more 'stellar' references?
