Rode mine from Paris Arkansas to Ruidoso NM. A 1600 mile trip. Went through heavy rain and strong winds. The max handled it like a champ. I cruise at around 75mph. Getting 73 mpg. I love this scooter and highly recommend it.

I had an xmax 300 and loved it. I sold it to make more room in my shed for a boat project. After that project
I bought a KLR to replace the xmax, but liked the xmax better so put a deposit on a 2024 which the salesman said might be at the dealer in April. The sales man told me they were only scheduled to get one !
I just wish it came with cruise control.

The new XMax looks like a great machine, especially for shorter guys with less than 30 inch inseams. I’m a taller guy who is very happy with my 2020 Honda Forza, which is nimble around town and very good on the abundant freeways here in Thailand where it is built. However, I recently saw a Yamaha TMax 570cc scooter which really put some lead in my pencil. How about doing a review of that one next?

False advartisement.... I bought it (Tech Xmax 300-2023) on Oct.2023 and you do not see who is calling to the screen. Also the phone notifications sector is not working... The reply of the Yamaha dealership is that this feature will be "unloked to the near future..."
Also at 05.20 you show when you turn the bike on something like yellow led around the screen..something that is not there..

In the part of the engine, this is not the engine of the xmax300 its the nmax engine 155

CORRECTION: the high mount LED indicators do not add to the streamlined look. In fact, these "ears" detract from the stramlined cool look. The ears should be a part of the mirrors -- like on a forza. The xmax is far better than the forza, but the mirrors are horrible and the ears are insane. Easy fix, so it is time for Yamaha to FIX this!
