There will be many times in our lives where we go through a rough season. It's nice to have a plan for how you are going to handle homeschooling through that season. This collaboration hosted by Ashlee and Nick @TwoHomeschoolMoms may be just what you are looking for today. Hard will be defined differently by each person that watches the playlist today. I hope that you find some helpful tips and lots of encouragement.
Please share in the comments something that helped you during a hard season or you can share your season you are going through now.

Im so sorry your family is going through this. What a blessing you can be there for mom and have such a good support network. Praise God the dr was able to find it even though she was feeling great at the time! I am praying for wisdom for the doctors and strength and endurance for you all ❤

My heart aches for you all. My mother was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer just before Christmas 4years ago on December 12, 2019, right before the craziness of C19.
I pretty much dropped school for several months. I knew my Mom was the main priority and we could catch up on school later. I'll never regret that I took that time.. I lost my mom on July 20, 2020.

As far as academics goes, my kids are caught back up and fine and I'm grateful we were there for my mom every step of the way through her battle.

I'll be praying for you and your family ❤

We had found RC curriculum (it’s mostly a book list that serves as full curriculum) before my mom was in the hospital from a heart attack. I truly believe God put it in front of me for the coming season of grief. We travelled across country multiple times to visit and then for her funeral. It gave me the grace period we needed and academics on track at the same time. I also struggle with R.A., and it’s such a blessing to have for those hard stretches of flair-ups! We also use the Usborne math workbooks for variety. God Bless you and your family. He gives true rest and true peace 🙏🏽

My brother-in-law passed unexpectedly 2 years ago and it was a really rough time in our lives. My boys loved him very much. The rest of that school year turned into just a workbook and free reading season. It worked out and got us through, but it wasn’t easy trying to get back into the school mode. God definitely gave us what we needed in that season.

Prayers to you and your family for strength, comfort, and healing. From what I can see and gather, you are a strong momma, so keep that faith and beautiful smile going. Keep shining that light for the world to see!

This is so timely for me. ❤ Thank you for sharing. We are walking through the same season as you and I am so sorry you are also experiencing this. My mom was diagnosed in October but she was hospitalized a few days after Christmas. We are hoping she can come home today. 🎉
I will be praying for you and your mom and your family.

Our hardest season was when my husband was diagnosed and ultimately passed from colon cancer. My biggest thing was grace. Allowing wiggle room and knowing there would be days where one or both of us just were not up to doing anything

I’m sorry you’re going through this. My mom had cancer a few years ago and fought through it, but I wasn’t homeschooling since my kids were young.
Prayers to your family ❤
