I purchased the Melomania +1 and fully charged them, but they only last around an hour and 30 minutes to two hours, then I have to charge them in the case for a short period of time to get another hour or two out of them. Is that normal or are mine faulty? As I was under the impression the battery life on them would last a constant 9 hours before I needed to place them back in the case to recharge them. If you could kindly advise me on this that would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

Would love to see a comparison of the touch and the 1+

For what it's worth, I use the 1's with foam ear tips and the fit's very secure. Running's no problem and passive noise isolation's great, but it does feel a bit like wearing earplugs (because essentially you are). Finally, I'm a big fan of the clicky button controls because I live in Scotland and I can still use them even in winter when I'm wearing a hat and gloves. For that reason alone, I won't be upgrading to the Touch, even if they do sound better!

Touch have amazing sound quality but I'm still getting occasional connection issues despite updates. Big sound improvement on my previous jabra 6t

Why does no one mention what the audio is like for the microphone? I want to use these for hands free calling and have heard mixed opinions.

Do the tips from the 1 fit in the case of the touch? I want to get some foam tips for the touch but CA are only selling ones for the 1

@technuovo I've read a lot of 'owner reviews' of the Melomania 1's that say the volume could do with being louder. Would you say Cambridge Audio have addressed this with the new Melomania Touch? (I know the EQ can be adjusted in the app, but in general without the app - are the Touch louder?)

I have the 1's and now matter what tip, I can't get them to stay in for more than 20 minutes. They stay in with foam tips, but the tips get stuck inside the charging case. I'm tempted to get the touch

I've had melomania 1 for a year love them and use the wavelet app. I got the touch to upgrade but honestly thought they were not and
upgrade so returned them after many side by side tests. I think had I not found the wavelet app which allows the perfect melomania one EQ adjustability I would have kept the touch. Both are way better than alot of rated tws I ordered and returned Inc sennheiser ( hollow and quiet) Jabra 75t too low end dominant, Sony bad fit kept losing seal and Bose which distorted at higher volumes but their noise cancelling was excellent.

The touch are simply awful if you want to do anything other than listen to music. The constant connection issues and number of times I’ve had to reset and repair is unforgivable. Things like calls randomly only coming through on one ear. The app is limited at best. I couldn’t really recommend them to anyone, but they do sound fantastic.
