SpaceX Falcon 9 Rocket launch of AMOS-17.
Launched from Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) Cape Canaveral, FL on 6 August 2019
This was viewed from Playalinda Beach, which is a national park accessible from Titusville, FL, there is a fee to access this, cars are $15 per day, motorcycles $10, walk-in $1 but the ticket is valid for 7 days if you decide to visit again (if a launch has a last minute change of schedule, like a lot of the launches - due to risk of thunderstorms), we went again and spent the day there, its such a beautiful beach, and was very quiet - well worth a visit. There are no food or drink facilities there, but there are toilet blocks.
The rocket launch was amazing, unfortunately the video doesn’t quite do it justice, but we were very pleased with it and is great to look back on.
This was shot on a Samsung Galaxy S9 phone, 4K at 60fps, using a Moza Mini-Mi 3 Gimbal and sound was recorded via a RØDE VideoMe microphone (links below from Amazon)
