Показать описание
See below for the text of today's reading.
"Psalm Bites" is a daily devotional podcast in which we read and pray through the entire book of Psalms in bite-sized portions. In other words, it's an audio bible for the Book of Psalms broken up into two-to-five-minute episodes that include opportunities to pray from the Word.
Each episode, we...
1.) read a passage from Psalms,
2.) highlight one or more verses, and
3.) pray extemporaneous prayers inspired by the reading.
We hope that praying through Psalms with us will help you meditate on the Word and draw nearer to God each day.
Episode 179 reading: Psalm 79:10-13 NKJV (New King James Version)
10 Why should the nations say,
“Where is their God?”
Let there be known among the nations in our sight
The avenging of the blood of Your servants which has been shed.
11 Let the groaning of the prisoner come before You;
According to the greatness of Your power
Preserve those who are appointed to die;
12 And return to our neighbors sevenfold into their bosom
Their reproach with which they have reproached You, O Lord.
13 So we, Your people and sheep of Your pasture,
Will give You thanks forever;
We will show forth Your praise to all generations.
