Who are the Geology Gals? - Rock Talks

Rhys and Hanna go behind the scenes at a geologic laboratory and explore what they do day to day.

The OGSR Library is a non-profit trust that manages rocks and data collected from all borings in Ontario drilled under the Oil, Gas & Salt Resources Act.

Rocks and data in the library collection can be accessed and researched like at a traditional library -- except most of the books are rocks. Explore rock cores and rock drill cuttings under microscopes, take picture, apply chemicals and tests. The collection is available for public study to anyone who wants to understand the Paleozoic rocks of Ontario.
