As a young guitarist, my first introduction to Paul Gilbert was To Be With You by Mr Big. It wasn't until much later that i discovered Racer X and his solo work through his old how to shred videos.

To me, Paul Gilbert is the master of the high speed alternate picked six. Every great guitar player as their strengths and weaknesses, but I've never seen anybody alternate pick sixes like him. Technical difficulties blows me away every time I hear it.
