To make it sound even better simply patch the ENV to the VCF CUTOFF. Immediately takes it to the next level.

Hey man, absolutely agree with you. The analog sounds that come out of this thing are beautiful. Simple but beautiful! I use it for melodic tech house to psytrance. I use it in almost every song I've made!!!

Crave was my first synth. I own two Craves, two Edges, the Spice and the Grind. All of them are great! All 6 together is really fun!!!

No regrets man. All of them have a place under the sun 😉
... and in your studio🤘🏻😎

Quick note, it's not a Behringer "Verses" (VS) it's based on the Sequential Circuits Prophet VS which stands for Vector Synthesis...

The low tones on the crave are really good

Lol, I saw you touch the frequency knob and instantly regret it. I've done that so many times on mine.

I've got the Crave and the Behringer Edge. The Edge is a great companion which is good for percussion synthesis.

The crave was my first synth about four years ago and I think its awesome!

I think its normal to not dig certain pieces off gear even though your research and auditions on YouTube intice you into G.A.S.
I dont consider it G.A.S. if there a gear in gear out policy, i consider that fine tuning your sound .
Some gear just hits different or just doesn't fulfill your needs, seems reasonable just sell it and upgrade. I do this constantly and its great for learning a lot about all different kinds of gear without a stockpile of unused Equipment someone else could be utilizing.

Thanks for the video!

I got my Crave off reverb for 98 bucks, not including the shipping. I love it. It fits in my setup perfectly.

I love this synth, I use it on almost every track. Really fat sound that sounds good all over the frequency spectrum.

I've got the Behringer Edge and Spice from the same family as the Crave and they're a lot of fun

Nice. Like a Moog Mother 32.
Is that a Behringer Solina in the background?

I love em all. They're all fun to play with. Crave is amazing, i have 2 of em, and when they were $199 i snagged 2 Neutrons as well. The amount if modular utility you get in Crave is unbeatable.

The crave is great, I use it with the 2600 a lot :) but also, grab the Behringer Wasp, it’s been at crazy sale price for ages… it looks a bit limiting, but it’s not, it gets nasty, weird and smooth with a few knob twists :)
I’ve been doing this since the 80’s, and loving all the new affordable gear ;)

I have a crave and find myself not getting much out of it.
Chalk it to patience and newbiness (never played with a dfam before).
But it was the piece that struck the cord that I had been experiencing GAS.
Your video though has inspired me to break out the Crave and have a got at it again!
Ty!

Crave was my first hardware synth. Just got an Edge so now have a new world of sounds and cross patching to explore. Also have a TD-3, they work so well together.
