به شکوه گفتم برم ز دل / یاد روی تو آرزوی تو
به خنده گفتا نرنجم از / خلق و خوی تو یاد روی تو

ولی ز من دل چو برکنی / حدیث خود بر که افکنی
هر کجا روی وصله منی / ساغر وفا از چه بشکنی؟

گذشتم از او به خیره‌سری / گرفته ره مه دگری
کنون چه کنم با خطای دلم / گرم برود آشنای دلم

به جز ره او نه راه دگر/ دگر نکنم خطای دگر

که می‌پزد دل
خمار صد شبه دارم
شراب خانه کجاست

I told her complainingly that I would remove from my heart her memories and desires for her
She laughed and said I should not be wearied of her manners and memories

But tell me when you leave me to whom will you tell your story?
Wherever you go you'll be a part of me why do you break the bond of loyalty?

I left her obstinately and she's on a different path now
and what can I do with such a mistake now that my sweetheart is gone

No more I will choose a different path from hers , I won't repeat the same mistake
