James Blunt is a former reconnaissance officer ( Captain, Company Officer ) in Life Guard Regiment in the British 🇬🇧 Army, he served in under NATO in Kosovo in 1999. Music career began after the war, music help cope what he saw during the war. Amazing artist

And It got a bit out of control. And yes it's him doing the jump. James also wrote a song about his time in Kosovo, as a tank commander, which is also very moving.

As most combat veterans, they believe they are on bonus time, The life they are living is a bonus time when they should have died, death happens in a second. Death is always close to combat veterans and it shows in their mentality and James Blunts songs.
