I like how Norma beat the odds, everyone told her she wouldn’t make it in Hollywood, pointing out her physical deficiencies.

But she went on in a time where female actors were dominating the market, pre-code era and slightly after. She’s absolutely one of my favorites and I wish more of her silent films were available, but I have an old picture filmography book of hers.❤

Ah, Norma shearer -one of the actresses to make the transition from the silents into the talkies successfully-her acting was marvelous and good in the movies 🍿 she appeared including the women-where she was in all star cast composed of females only and she was great in it ! 👍👍👍👍👍👩👩

NOT the Greatest actress of the silent films....She married Irving Thalberg ..in charge of production at access to anything she wanted...Greta Garbo.. probably the Greatest Actress... just my opinion..😊
