This song seems like being sent from a parallel universe with an alternate timeline

I'm on the cusp of 50 and a lifelong fan of this band, Liz and This Mortal Coil. Never watched Twin Peaks until 2 months ago but this edit made me buy the entire box set. Loved it. Never tried coke until i was 40, loved that for a short while too. This is better

Utter magnificence. Truly sublime. I miss The Cocteau Twins so much, but what a body of work they bestowed upon us.

The fact that this precedes Persephone on the album is almost too much for my ears and heart 🖤... What a feeling

I post the same comment on my favorite tracks of cocteau twins on youtube … 37 … i cross my fingers for the right person to read this one day …

Cocteau twins is a reminder of the best years of my life … in london many many years ago … my first day as a salesman in a shop in london on camden high street … i'm french … she's from sweden …
i can barely speak english … she's amazingly beautiful … i pop in the shop to start my shift and this music is playing … then i feel shivers all over my body blushing red facing her amazing beauty and thought : "what on earth is this music !!!" … since then but even more after i left london i can't sleep without some cocteau twins … her name is merrethe she was, she is & will be a friend for ever !!! I miss you Merrethe my dear friend …

Amazing work for the vid by the way …

I have had over 40+ years of super-fandom for the Cocteaux', so what that means is I've heard every possible remix, mash-up, and viewed every fan-made video. However, this little video was a delightful surprise to me, when I'll sometimes let YouTube select Cocteau Twins music while I'm working and this video just popped up on the screen. There are hidden gems all over the place, so as anybody can attest, these discoveries are one of grand elation. People don't realize Robin still releases fan-made music through tribute albums of various sorts, but I speak with Simon, who is considering a special release of fanmade video montage collection.

Dark&Light JCS TV ― I will be submitting your video for Robin and Simon to review for consideration, because this is absolutely mesmerizing work.

Elizabeth really hated making music videos, just because she's so shy and intimidated concerning her own negative self-image, plus a big fear of ridiculing. No one is harder to please Elizabeth, more than Elizabeth about herself. One of the benefits of having been a devotee for so long, is that I own everything, plus some bonus material; yet, I'm still astonished to learn people know so little about Elizabeth, Robin, and Simon. I tell people to simply ask questions to those who people who've been listening the longest, so in my case its been since 1982. When the Internet started, Leesa Beals built the first Official Cocteau Twins Website, organized CocteauFest (an event that happens every two years in different cities around the globe), and began the first 'Cocteau Twins Forum' (call it the first version of Discord), where 37 people communicated, but discussions were moderated and often attended by either Elizabeth, Robin, or Simon. Leesa even acted as the bands impromptu secretary and schedule organizer of events, because all three members were not very attentive over those things, because the work took all their focus and attention ― In a sense, they very much lived in their own world.

It still warms my ❤ heart, to read from so many people of different generations, who've taken the Cocteaux' into themselves and continued their relevance. I knew that someday another generation would rediscover their intoxicating sound, but let me express, Elizabeth did indeed coin the term "Dream-pop" and not Alex Ayuli of the one hit wonder from AR Cane. It's a very long story, but Elizabeth used the term, five years before Alex repeated herself.
