First Setup (Coverage Defense):
1. Globally blitz linebackers
2. Press repeatedly until the MLB comes down
3. Put the MLB in a middle third zone
4. Put the left side OLB in a curl flat
5. Put the right side OLB in a curl flat
6. Bring the RB side safety down as shown and user him

Second Setup (Blitz)

1. Globally blitz linebackers
2. Press repeatedly until the MLB moves down
3. Move the safety opposite the RB into the box as shown
4. Move the safety on the RB side down to the line as shown
5. Blitz the safety on the RB side and user him

I wish I had time to do that, with constant hurry up or hiking the ball as soon as the screen pops up all I can do is shift my d line or linebacker

Double tap right on the D Pad for your lineback adjustments. B or O will always be furthest on the rightside, X or Square will be furthest Left. Click the linebacker you want to adjust and on the right stick, slide right for purple zones, or slide right for blues (soft, hard flats)

Best consistent defense that works for me on legend h2h seasons is 3-4 defense cover 3 and 4-3 over plus cover 3. Pinch buck 0 on goal line and always put sticks underneath/overtop and outside

2. Youtubers never show actual gameplay on a good opponent

Been running this scheme for awhile now. Just so people understand how it stops the run. You ideally want inside stuff on one of the DL. It will stop most inside zones on its own and you’ll have enough speed on the field to get to the edge on stretches. Also, it helps having good man coverage on your DBs and match cornerbacks how you like them to be in your coaching adjustments. If they run the RB on a swing and your not coming down on that route it’s easy yards. You can mable(hard flat that OLB, put the MLB in a deeper curl flat) then take the safety manned to the RB and user the middle.

Does the coverage adjustments actually work, like covering inside, outside and over the top? I feel like I press those functions all the time and I still get beat inside predominantly

@EricRayweather Little advice please! I've played on All Madden for years, but I'm sick of the CPU cheating and dumbing down my 90+ OVR AI corners to literally LET the receiver blow past them before they engage. Even with coverage sliders at 100 for me. If I play on All Pro, they actually move and cover much more realistically, but then the games are too easy. What do you do to get a FAIR challenge??🙏🏈

You should blitz your user no matter what coverage you are actually going to use with them. It gives you better reaction time and keeps them from feeling like they're stuck in mud.

Blitz all linebackers
Right de pad down left stick

Press
Triangle, down on the left stick tell the player comes into the gap

Move string safety moved more into cover


Outside linebackers on purples

X then right on the left stick

Middle linebackers on mid blue

Shade over the top


Blitz set up

Blitz all linebackers

Continually press till they come into the gap

Blitz safety and come down step shoot down and pretend your going to blitz then go quick and cover the running back instead
