One of the most beautiful poems ever written. A reflection of life.

That the reader is also the writer makes all the difference to this beautiful poem. Yes, for the mature reader, there are nuances and depths to the piece; but children love it too, the rhythm and the simple story of the traveller stopping to view the beauty of the scene. Wonderful !

One of two Frost poems read a week ago at my son’s funeral. Semper Fidelis Marine

I read this at my dad’s funeral. Still gives me the saddest ache everytime I hear it.

We school kids had to memorize this poem and recite it to the teacher one by one. She had a certain way she wanted us to recite it. Every time we have our first snowfall of the season, I go back in time and remember this poem. It's pretty cool to hear Robert Frost himself recite it.
