I am planning to appear for CFA level 2 exam in November 23. But I want to learn python and other added changes too. Should I defer my planning to appear in 2024 for level 2 or learning these in level 3 would be enough?

I will be sitting the November 2023 Level 1 exam; the way I'm understanding this is that I will still need to learn Modeling/Python Fundamentals as a prerequisite because of the practical skills module for Level 2?

I was planning to appear for Feb 24 exam, as far as I understand nothing is being added to the syllabus for the exam (except practical skills modules not tested), just certain areas within Quants, Econ and Financial Statement Analysis have been removed? If so, which one?

i will be appearing for the august 2023 level exam so as far as my understanding is concerned modeling/python fundamentals module testing does not apply on me currently. when i will register for level 2 in 2024 then it will be applicable
