Bernie Taupin was actually 17 when he wrote the lyrics to your song. He even admitted that he was still a virgin. It only took about 20 minutes for Elton to right the music he said later in an interview later. It was my parents wedding song. Elton is truly a GREAT TALENT that comes around in an entire lifetime. His music has left such a great impact in my heart.

The reason my parents chose YOUR SONG as there wedding song was because when my dad took her out on there first date, He took her out to the Landmark hotel casino in las vegas, where they lived and I'm from. there was a lounge and night club on the very top that had a tremendous view of LV. All of the sudden the song your song began to play. It was to be there first dance together. My mother said that they danced close and never took there eyes off one another. It was at that very moment, my mother said that she fell in love with him. they were together every since.
