Learn Flat Herringbone Stitch with Fusion Beads

Watch as we guide you through the starting and working through tubular herringbone stitch. Herringbone, also known as Ndebele stitch, is an interesting seed bead weaving technique that is easy to learn. The weave is created with pairs of beads, lying in a V-shape pattern. This is a great technique for beaders of all levels.

Just a comment.... at 5:07 you instruct that we should go back up the last bottom bead in the last column to reach the last bead at the top of the last columns, however that leaves a thread showing the transition... I would suggest that instead of doing that... when your thread is coming out of the last bottom bead of the last column, to go back up the second last bottom bead in the last column and then from there go up the last upper bead in the last column... Doing this will transition your thread from the top of the second last bottom bead, (where it came out), to enter the bottom of the last upper bead in the last column, thus using the natural stacking line between your rows of beads to cover it... This is a great tutorial, great presenter. Just one thing that bothers me is that at the end of each row one stitch is made around the outside of the last bead so that at one end of each row there is a thread showing. This is easy to eliminate by going to the left to the second last bead, up through that bead then back over to the right and then through the last bead on the row just completed. I know it's a little thing but it looks nicer. Thanks again for the great video.
